Travel To Cherrapunjee

Okay guys, so finally its time for my Travel post!

As you all know, I went to Cherrapunjee a while back, it was one of the best trips I’ve ever had! I never thought of visiting East India, but thanks to Styledotme, they made this possible and it was a beautiful beautiful journey.

Starting from day 1, we boarded the flight from Delhi to Guwahati, we landed in about 2.5 hours.

As soon as we landed, the weather was good, we started our road journey and were off to Shillong. too much traveling made us super hungry, we finally stopped at ML Cafe, Shillong which was definitely one of my favorites. Vintage vibes with very good food, one cafe which is a must go if you ever visit Shillong. Bikes, Quotes on wall, beautifully designed. We were greeted with a cute note along with a Necklace that represents the eastern culture. I had hot chocolate with marshmallow and some cheese sandwiches.

Moving on, when we finally reached Cherrapunjee, I was completely awestruck by the beauty of this place. I witnessed the most beautiful sunset of my life.

We stayed at Polo Orchid Resort, which is huge. From courteous staff to beautiful rooms to villas. This place makes me want to relax all day long.

Their villas have a private pool too, What else do we need on holidays?

The Second day was for trek, which was for about 10Kms, I am not much of a trek person but it was totally worth it because on our way down we jumped into a pool of a beautiful lake. It was soo relaxing and definitely worth every step we took 😀 The journey made me meet too many villagers who were more than happy to see us.

Third day, we headed back to Shillong and stayed at Polo Orchids, Headed to the market, ate local food, it was too good to explore a new place. That night, we went for Kareoke night at Irish Pub that was in the hotel! what an evening, the place is full of happy vibes and it was too much fun! Good food, Great ambience, everything was on point!

The last day, we went to this cafe, Dylan’s Cafe, that had one of the best hot chocolate, moms served in bamboo boxes along with beautiful seating.

I really miss such places in a place like Delhi. That cafe literally made me sooo happy that I just didn’t want to come back. the cafe also belong to Polo orchids.

and Finally, the journey came to an end. Work trips become too much fun with the right people, Thanks to team Styledotme and Polo Orchids for making this a memorable one.

I came back home with loads of beautiful memories.
